can you bore a 81mm head gasket to mate with a 81.5mm bore. just wondering...have a 81mm hg laying around but have to over bore my cylinders to 81.5mm...

 

i seem to recall reading on H-T that OEM head gaskets are more like 82mm anyway, but I also know that i ended up with 2 different OEM b-series head gaskets that had different OEM part numbers and one of them seemed to have smaller cylinder bores...if I can find the part numbers at home i'll post them up.

yea i've been reading but everyone says that it'll be fine but i'm still iffy...i'm just gonna slap it on and see what happens...

 

Measure the F****** thing. How stupid can that be. Does your piston fit thru it? DUH. Homer could figure that out.

dude...theres more to it then just the piston fitting through it...i'm looking for **** like will it seal right, since its steel it might expand and touch the pistons, etc... maybe since honda has two different part #'s for 81mm and 81.5mm...maybe somethings different...don't just be an *** here i'm not asking for much...
