can i put a b16a2 head on a b16a1

b series is be series. might wanta check the o2 setup and the proper location for the o2. and you might use 2 instead of 1 o2 sensor. but other than that, it will work like a charm.

Yes, you can use a head from any year.

BTW, the o2 sensors have nothing to do with the head. The o2 sensors are affected by type of ecu ie ODB-0 or OBD-1.
