Default installing speakers

i have a 2001 s2 and as you know it dosnt have the factory tweeter pods. im installing MTX high end components and amp and i want to know my optionsfor tweeter palcment. im concerned about it being clean and i dont know if i wanna drill into the door panels. Could i buy just the factory tweeter pods from honda??

best way IMO is to buy some 02+ door panels.

wow...thats a little pricey. plus i wouldnt need the whole panel just for the tweeter pod. i could prob just bu the pod and then drill out a a whole in mine

Mount them on the A pillar. Better imaging than on the doors or headrests.

dont need it .. just get some 2-3 ways and call it a day.. best thing i did when i did mine.. JL audio 3 ways... plently of mid and highs... then the 12" is the kicker

you can buy the factory tweeter pods from the 04+. I think they're around $40 or so. Thats what I'm planning on doing if I keep my car.

My infinity tweeters just screwed right in to the OEM door pods.
