Is this the right ignitor it doesnt fit in the distributor correctly even when i tried to take the bracket off the other ignitor it wont go on the new one but they have gave me this part 2 times and i think it has been wrong both times

if it doesn't fit take it back and get the right one.

That second one you showed it part of a different type of dist. The first pics is a TEC dist, and the other is another brand that i forgot the name at this time. But yea it wont fit correctly.

 

take it in with you and make them match it up.

 

I am going to PAPA tomorrow and get the right **** hopefully my car works tomorrow night ill let ya'll know....funny thing is though if you look at all the honda parts places on the web and look up the igniter for a 99 civic ex the pic of the second one i showed comes up not the one i have in the dizzy now weird and one more thing i installed the second one and my car still wouldnt start you think i need the correct one they both have the same connections
