ok im getting ready for paint, and im taking the body apart myself for the most part [cept for doors themselves] what all is normal to remove before a full body/bay/jambs painting? Here is my list thus far and questionable items please lemme know what to remove:

Bay [engine already out]:
- Brake MC
- Clutch MC
- Fuel Hardlines [do i have to remove these?]
- EVAP Canister
- Fuel Filter and Mount
- Heater Hoses etc
- Steering Rack [do i have to remove this?]
- Brake Hardlines/prop valve [do i have to remove these?]

Body:
- Fenders, Hood, Rear Bumper, Trunk [tail lights removes]
- Mirrors
- Door Handles
- Outer Tails
- Fuel Door
- Skirts
- Moulding
- Antennae

Did I get everything? What am i missin? Also whatabout the question items? What do I do with headlight harness... does that disconnect somewhere or do i leave it in there?

Just wanna get this right the first time!

weather stripping, the front cowl if you plan on replacing it

 

You'll see what you're missing once you've removed all those parts lol. It's kinda something you just go do instead of making a list of.

 

im assuming you leave the shocks and tophats on and just tape them off?
