Please help me to identify the oil leak
94 integra RS,5spd with 144k kms.
I have a pretty serious oil leak that starts couple months ago and now gets pretty nasty.
it is from the driver side of the engine bay, bottm of the front end.
everymorning there is a spill of oil and sometimes oil mixed with coolant.
can anyone help me to identify where the oil leak coming from?
i'd like to know some possibilities before i head to the repair shop.
thank you very much
and also my car has parked for 3 days and when i went to check my oil level this morning, the oil stick shows no oil at all. is this normal?does it mean my oil is compeltely gone?or i can only check oil level when the car is warmed up?
i live in western canada, the temperature for last couple days has been -10 to -20 ish.

If I am not mistaken, you have a blown or worn-out head gasket.

thank you guys for the response.
but i also checked my coolant reservior and radiator, no milk-like mix(which is an indication of blown headgasket?)
and it is from the driver side bottom of the front end.
i am not a car guy, so i am not sure what part it is.

That could be a lot of things. If you have a leak in any of the following seals/gaskets it will generally run down the driver's side front of the motor and drip off.
- Cam seals
- Front driver's side of the valve cover gasket
- Front main seal
But these would mostly leak when the car was running. Sounds like you have head gasket issues like the other guys said.
The bottom dot on the dip stick generally means you are about 1 quart low. If you can't seen any oil at all you are more than 1 quart down. Always check oil when the car is cold. If you are below the bottom dot, add a quart, wait a minute and check again. You should be able to see some oil on the dip stick now. Add a small amount of oil and check until you get close to the top dot (or line or whatever). My sister can check her oil and top it off. You don't have to be a car guy but you need to do this.
Regardless, you need a mechanic real soon.

sounds like a head gasket problem but to be sure clean around the oil pan gasket and look for seapage but to tell u the truth sounds like a head gasket.
