ok well last sunday it started snowing in my area. Only got an inch or so at most. I washed my car as soon as the snow was gone from the roads and the lip on my rim is screwed. I have tryed the following tricks to shine them up:
- Peanut Butter
- Mothers mag polish
- Mild steel wool

Basically on the wheel there are like small ridges and it seems thats where most of the road grime/salt crap is. What can i do to polish my lips back up?

 

corrosion from salt, you'll need to wetsand. depending on how bad the corrosion is depends on how low of a grit you'll have to begin with. Just follow the steps in the Polished HX rims thread, except do it to the lips

 

cool i figured i would have to wetsand Ill make sure to clear the lip this time too
