I am going to the drag strip this weekend.. and was wondering if I take my exhaust off from the header downpipe ( aftermarket dc-sports 4-2-1 ) all the way back off.. (leaving just the header and downpipe ) would i mess up anything. Would there be a difference worth doing? Its a d16a6

 

It won't hurt anything, but I don't think it'll help enough to be worth the effort.

 

haha i had a header on my old crx and the exhuast broke off at the test pipe and it wouldnt start to pull till like 5k and still wasent pulling that hard...my stock d16a6 went 16 flat at the track stock everything just the eshuast would make the car quit pulling past 70 mph

 

hmm ok i just swapped in the motor the other day, and im debating on going with ITB's .. i had some carb'd ones i traded for some CBRR ITB's. . . I was just wondering about the exhaust, its very loud. I like it that loud at the track..
