Default Short Shifter Question

Im about to Order a short shifter and i was wondering if a 92-95 civic shifter would fit my 90 si?

yes it will...trust me I used one myself..
the only thing is that it might not be as short as buying one made just for you car.

bought a cheap one from ebay and it snapped at the top of the ball.... No more ebay short shifters for me

yes it would work, the only thing you have to consider here is, when not made for you car, you'll have much harder times of having it go into gear. i personally like the skunk 2 or replicas that have the same curves. they work really well... other cheapies that i've seen like the ones that just go up w/ a slight bend at the ball joint tend to make my gears harder to get into, therefore giving me grinds. the skunk 2 on the other hand has the shape of a back words " s " or lightning.... just remember you get wat you pay for.... you goe cheap you're going to get something cheap, unless its the real deal for cheap. its cost me 2 trannys going w/ the cheaper short shifters. other than that, if you're really not running the car as in racing it, i would stick w/ stock-oem.... its pretty short the way it is... good luck.. keep the ef's alive....

Most all short shifters are labeled 88-00 civic.

if it says 92 + I wouldn't risk it, finding one for 88-00 isn't to tricky, hurst makes one that I use.

if you do get the del sol shifter because they are actually shorter in size, this is what i would do
