ok so im finally starting to rebuild my em1... its main purpose is a dialy driver. so i know that oem bumpers will be more durable in the long run.. however. still have the bomex sitting here from when i took the car apart. so it would obviously be cheaper to use it. the car is boosted and my pwr happens to fit perfectly behind the bomex ( i guess theres a little bit of ricer in all of us) and i know i'll have to hack up an oem bumper..

so i guess im just shooting for opinions here... and another thing. i've been debating about leaving the car milano red or seeing what matte black looks like. i've always thought matte black looked sexy.

 

I would go OEM myself, but it is your car. And, I would leave it red. If anything, maybe just get it resprayed.

if your ic is big enough to fill in the bomex..i think itll look sick!

 

The Bomex kit looks pretty clean IMO. I would rather have a clean body kit then have my car look like EVERY OTHER car on this board. Dont get me wrong some cars look clean STOCK but damn if all you have to do is buy a Honda, drop it, put some decent rims on it, and call it a day, where is the personalization in that. I say keep the kit and leave it red. If you want to paint it matte black, it might look better OEM.

its a toss up, my pwr is big enough to fill the bomex.
i can get a trunk and the quarter fill panels for 150 local. i still need a hood.
a guy has the front bumper local for 80
still need sideskirts and and a rear bumper if i went oem.

 

bomex is hideous id go oem and keep it mr but to each his own its your own ride...
