you see that round piece hanging there should be 2 screws that hold it on. did they break them or are the 2 holes still there?

if they unscrewd it, then all you are saying is that all i need to do is buy new screw to replace it, right?

how much does the streeling column cost

The thieves that broke into your car were amateurs. They couldn't bypass your steering wheel lock (the ignition part that your key goes into), so they just broke it off. That plastic piece on the underside of the steering column can be replaced. Chances are they ripped it off because it rips off so easily. The ignition however cannot be fixed, it need to be replaced or else the steering wheel WON'T LOCK when the key is out, which means you will have to have a different key to start the car.

Most likely just the ignition switch. I've fixed a few hondas with similar damage. If your going to replace it with a junkyard part, just cut a slot on the head of the break bolts and use a flat head. Installing a kill switch wouldnt be a bad idea.

Happened to my car once. You need a new ignition, which will come with a new set of keys (for ignition only), and you MAY need a new steering column, depending if they warped it.
