o.k when i close my hood and i want it open i need someone to pull the hood release and i need to hit it about halfway up the hood on the drivers side to get it open. is this really simple to fix, is it all about playing around with the latch??

 

try greasing where the hood "*****" goes into the hood "vagina" sorry for being too grafic i dont know the proper terms for them.
