Default GSR Crankshaft Girdle in an LS?

hey i im building an integra ls motor. i have a crank girdle off a gsr with the journals and bolts still on it. i was told that the ls dosent have a girdle, just has the 5 journals. i want to know if it would be helpful or even possible to put the gsr girdle on if it even helps and also if i would need to use a gsr windage tray and oil pickup. thanks

Can be done, must have block line honed with the new main caps.

cool thanks, also i was wondering if just using the normal ls journals instead of the block girdle would still be strong for say a boosted motor with forged internals, or do you think i should use the girdle

For your goals a girdle is not needed. Especially if your sticking with a LS power band.
