6th gen suspension setup is different. The washer trick is not possible.

lol camber is the degree they are angled from being perpendicular to the road, the lower you go , the more the wheels slant inward. the washers help correct the camber and push the wheel back outwards to get it close to 90o then

course, george knighton said camber doesnt really matter, up to and including 3.5degrees, the thing that looks like camber wear it caused cause the toe is messed up when u drop it, causing the tires to scrub the road, and since there is also more camber, all the scrubing is done on the inside edges of the tires making it look like camber wear


and really, when you think about it, the rubber on the edge is no different than the flat part, so just get caster and toe fixed at a good alignment shop, and ignore camber (as long as one side of the car doesnt have more or less than the other side of course)

but i though that camber was non-adjustabl on 6th gens

also, dont say its rice, but can i get a camber kit or something to gimme more camber at stock height (potholes, curbs, driveways are tall here)

 

As far as I know, camber isn't adjustable on any Accord. The "washer trick" is just that on 4th and 5th gens... a trick to make rear camber closer to stock.

Tomorrow (when I'm not drunk), I'll go into why I personally believe some camber correction is necessary for a daily driver.

On a side note, I have a rear camber kit only. My front camber is at -1.0*, and I'm perfectly fine with that. Again, I'll go into more detail when I'm sober...

 

just for those that want to know what the washer trick is even though I know it's been described, go to the Accord FAQ and look in the Suspension section, it's the last link. That'll show you what the "washer trick" is.

 

Great response everyone I'll post my alighment specs when I get home today and get some better advice.

I was thinking of the one where you trick a girl into washing your clothes while you fack her. IMHO that is THE washer trick.


I'm with phil, camber is overrated. if your toe is right and your camber isn't way the expletive out, you're fine. I was down about 3.5 inches on coilovers for about 30k with no front camber kit and the tires were fine. toe was perfect though.

Tiresource usually gives me printouts of the alignment which I love, here is the alignment before and after, the left rear came back into spec when they fixed toe.

 

bump anybody know if my right rear tire is going to get eaten alive?

my car has similar toes as urs, i told the guy to set the toes to zero they didnt, thne they set my buddy car alll zero toe out( same car as myne). this is lame.
