This is fxxk up man....as many of you may already knew, my R was stolen on April 17th...its been almost a month, and they're still investigation the case. Did everything I can but its still not settle. This really sucks. Does any of you know any attorney that can help me out with this?

 

if it was stolen, and they havent found it, then why would they say it was fraud?

 

Don't they usually take a month for investigations before you getting into the value of the car, let alone a check cut?

 

man ill tell you these damn insurance companies have no problem when you're there for them (payin them religiously) but when it comes time for them to meet their end of the deal they will do anything to try to get out of it.

Anyone wanna give me their money so I can invest it and then fock you over when you want it back?

 

this really sucks, they first told us that they'll pay us...they even told us how much....and after we thought that everything is settled, they informed us that they want to reinvestigate the case. This really really sucks.

Yes, but the fact remains, the guys car was stolen 4 WEEKS ago and he still hasnt seen a dime. Regardless if he has something to hide, thats ridiculous.

Steve aka Schanx had his ITR stolen about a month after last year's expo. His ins Co stalled, and even accussed him of stealing his own car I forgot who his ins Co was, but I hope AAA does't give me chit *if* something were to happen to 234

Insurance companies are crooked *** bastages...
They insist on getting your money right on time, but when it comes to paying...(see sig).

 

that's life it sucks, it took 5 months for me to get paid and they found my car 2 days after it was stolen....after questioning me about the theft over and over...like i was responceable (sp) anything to get out of cutting a check

 

FWIW I've heard good things about State Farm. I've had them my whole life, really good rates too. I had a $1000 stereo system stolen several years ago, they cut me check literally on the spot.

It will take more than four weeks just to cut through the red tape. Ask around - it takes a very long time...

you guys all have the wrong companies. Get a cheap one and you will be treated that way. You get what you pay for. You want a Ferrari? You are going to pay for it. Thats the way everything in this world works. I have article in the office about fraud claims. If you guys were in their shoes... You would be doing the same thing the cheap companies are doing if you saw the number of fraud to actual claims...

sucks to be me i guess...oh well, i'm getting an attorney next week. My insurance company is InsurQuest aka SAFCO insurance....they really really really "SUCK"

 

Unless you consider State Farm a "cheap" one, you're wrong. State farm accused me of stealing my car, and wouldn't even talk payout until 3 months TO THE DAY that my car was stolen. (it just so happens I found out that you have legal rights against them if they don't pay you after three months) I had to give them my phone records, my bank records, deal with the handler always assuming that I was a theif, even though I had already replaced the car with another R... They even caught the guy who stole my car, and they still accused me, because he wouldn't talk... Grrrrrr.

Oh, and they REALLY lowballed me with the offer when we finally did start talking. At least I didn't have to fight that much to get it up ot a more reasonable value.

same thing happened to me when my R got stolen, they didnlt pay me until 2 months after. I had to call every single day to be updated in what was going on. Insurance company sucks. They get all nice when they take your money, but try everything they can to deny any payments back to you.

The funniest thing was I called and told them the car was stolen and got a police report, they said "O...sorry to hear about the lost, someone will be in contact with you within 24 hours." I waited 42 hours and called them back...their response was "WHAT DO U WANNA KNOW?" I yelled at the person on the phone and got a rental in 30 mins delivered to my door. So, in conclusion, they will do crap unless you GIVE them crap.

Yes State Farm is cheap. You guys pay money to a group of people that are SUPPOSED to help you when you need it. Now look what they do to you... I dont know how much you guys pay... But on my policy Im at $2000 a year for full coverage highest limits and a 5 million umbrella. Of course Im also in the top rated tier and have a tons of redits becasue I put it with my parents insurance... But it seems that all you guys who shop for "the deal" are the ones who get screwed. That doesnt tell you anything? Good insurace is expensive for a reason.

i work for AAA ...customer service for insurance ..here in so cal.
i hope your comprehensive deductible is 100 bucks.
if it isn't, you should change it...all you need is an inspection
at your local district office.
a 100 dollar deductible isn't that much more expensive than a 500 dollar deductible.

california.
and i'm insured with them. yes i work for AAA but since my mom's been with
state farm forever..i get alot of discounts still living with her
