Default Fitment Issue...

Okay, well, this is how I can best word it so I dont sound like an idiot. I am a fairly large man, I stand about six foot three, and I weight in at about 280 pounds. I am a sales manager for a retail store, but I also have moonlighted as a bouncer in the past. To give you an idea of my stature.

My fiance owns a 2001 Miata, which I absolutely love, nice little zippy car. However, as she is graduating this May, I thought why not pick up a used S2000 for her as a surprise, being that her love for convertible cars might only come in as a close third behind shopping and the love for her family. I figured I would get on here and ask about how big of a person do you think can comfortably fit in the drivers seat of this car?

To put it into further perspective, I am able to barely fit in the drivers seat of her Miata, but I can drive it, short distances mostly because the car is a little too cramped. I havent had a chance to look at an S2000 in person so I thought i'd start here. Before my most recent bannage, I was on this site for 5 years being that i've owned various other Honda's, now i'm down to an accord coupe and a mazdaspeed6.

Anyhow, any input on how big of a man could fit in the drivers seat of an S2000 comfortably?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I say no way. I am 6'2" and 200 lbs. Height wise I am 1" from the bars on the top, and I just think the extra weight will be uncomfortable against the seat bolsters.

And there is less room for feet on the passenger side as well.
