If it were me, and I couldn't afford the real deal, I would go with the cheaper of the two. Because, the way I look at it, they're both fakes, so it's not really going to matter that much.

Uh oh, having Rota in the title is going to draw all the myopic "JDM is t3h bett4r, Rota are cheat0rs" people out of the woodwork.... If you can't afford the Slips I think you will be fine with Flik, just realize that it may be harder to source replacements if you do damage one or more of the wheels since Rotas are everywhere and not a lot of places sell flik.

PS: Are you posting on a PC w/ MS Windows? Silly copied OS user....

If they make them your best bet is to look at Edge Racing, who it appears is the only retailer that sells them, they also sell combos. (http://www.edgeracing.com/wheels/flik/). It doesn't look to me like the blast is available in 16".I was also unable to find anything about the company with a quick google search other than the fact that they may just be rebadged products from other companies. One person said that when making a warranty claim, they had to go through Team Dynamics.

I bought a set of Flik wheels last year and they were Team Dynamics Pro Race 1's, and when I needed to make a warranty claim on one of the wheels, I had to go directly through Team Dynamics. Most of them seem to be good quality wheels though, although they are often limited in colors and sizes.

If I were strapped for cash, I would look around for a used set of wheels, rather than new.

In particular, you can get used wheels from GS-R's for really cheap and they look nice. Not riced out crap like black wheels look.
