weight difference between '88-'89 and '90-'91 CRX
I was noticing that there is quite some difference in weight between the earlier ('88-'89) and later ('90-'91) 2nd gen 'rexes. I guess this weight difference is also evident in other EF's and ED's as well.
I know that the doors on the later Rexes are heavier as a result of having more side-impact reinforcements and those @$%#@! door mounted seatbelts. But that certainly doesn't explain all of the weight difference. I am under the impression that the rear suspension is different but not sure.
I know some of you guys know what the story is. So please help out if you can,
