i have heard that if you use one ctr cam and one itr cam its suppose to be a pretty decent setup. what is the combo of these cams. or should i just go with skunk2 stage 2 cams. its for a gsr. im also gonna be running a skunk 2 manifold if that matters

 

what are your goals ? plans with the car ?

 

ive seen people using just a CTR intake cam. that works, makes decend power. but depends, skunk2 and oem CTR cams are about the same price.. depending where you get them and what stage skunk2

 

well i was gonna go with stage 2 skunk2 cams. im not trying to go all out fast and requires alot of tuning. basically im doing the basic bolt ons. 4-1 header high flow cat and cat back. etc. then a set of cams port/polished head, itr valve train and itr pistons

 

then just stick to skunk2 stage 2 cams.

 

for your setup the skunk2 stage 2 would be good or you may even want to look into the skunk2 pro series stage 1 cam. They are just a bit better than the s2s2 cams.
