I just bought a 1995 VTEC and have a few detail questions.

Has my moonroof button been replaced? At night it lights up green, not blue green.

Also, do all 4th gens have an illuminated auto window switch on the drivers side.

Is that buzzing I hear coming from behind the dash my flourescent bulb for the guages?

 

"auto" window light and moon roof light should be the same as the dash lights. It is popular for people to change the DASH lights to blue.

Thanks thats what I thought. I'm going to replace the drivers side window switch/unit. Do all 4th gen preludes have a light in this unit? I'd hate to purchase the wrong part.

I think it might be a fan from the heater.

 

94-96 models have different window switches with the light (but I'm not sure if "s" models have light up switches)

 

my 95 s model has it too they are all the same for the newer models

 

Thanks for the input, I think I've found the correct part.

As for my moonroof button being green instead of the traditional blue/green... I'm guessing some of the buttons were replaced already from another honda with green interior lights.

Now I have more questions:
Is the word cruise supposed to light up? When pressed to use, the led lights up an orange but otherswise it is always dark on mine.

Also, the cruise indicator on the dash is out as is the gas light. Are these potential sensor issues or just bulbs?
