EF CRX average built up story. daily driver finally!!! TONs OF PICS TONS!!

first time: tuned for 18psi making around 34x whp...but silly me i installed a 3" cat.
so went back to take it off and tune it again..
now its on 14psi all day making 309whp, tuned very very conservative ..

well finally i finished my proyect, at least for daily driven ...i had fun having the b16 w/bc3+ cams on it for over 2 years, and about feb-march last year, i finished my DC built up...(bc4 cams, p73 pistons, ITR JDM hrs's and HKS full exhuast, rc 440cc w/ hondata, etc.... tunned by bubba making 173WHP ( with catalitic, power steering and A/C belts
)... BTW i'll missing my pampered teg.... 
anyhow i got bored with my tools laying around, so i decided trade my teg and work in my crx...after all this is my second crx.
it came with a b16 on it, some cells, erratic iddle but i always wanted another crx. the night i parked it...


after that i wanted to do something , tein, new tires, rims "rota", gut it out, momo SW, new motor mounts, install the vtec controller...and fix the spiderweb i had for ecu..!!

finally this is how it ends...
buddy club 3+ cam w/ itr valvetrain, dc hrs', field Vtak controller, love or hate rota were my first "aftermarket" rim, covered by falken...and as old school lover, i proud represent the NINTENDO decal!!! Mario bros. if so great!!!



and thats how it last for almost a year

time passed... working and finish the DC before i started again with the "CR'ex"
this used to be my DC... i missed her a lot

as soon i finished the teg, started with the CRX b16 boost proyect....
after reading and reading...im not trying to discover the pepsi...i just followed somebody (s) steps in order to get my goal. if something i learned, cheap is not always good, "do it right, do it once"....thats why it took me almost 9 month to complete it, need to read and read and time to gather the "billullo" in order get my parts right?...
so here its it...b16 crx...i posted this on another forum, so ill try to "clean it " and go straight with the pics....
i just want to share it, because like me, theres a lot of EF's ppl who wants to do the same....im not trying to build a JDM crazzy boosted F1 killer!! i just want to smoke that neon srt4 who teased me on the fwy a year ago!! lol but my N/A setup wont hold...
first..i tried "cheap way"...stock block crx 89, con b16, itr valvetrain, gsr cams.. chipped ecu..obd0 turbonetics .60
tial wastegate 35mm 9 psi spring
greddy bov
greddy turbo timer
greddy & blox gauges
p28 ecu chipped por ahora con chrome
2.5 exhaust with cutout blablabla...i made around 220hp... :s...
after that i decided to do it right and built this motha' up from ground...
my work place...

relocating wiring under dash....first i had to clean somebody else swap messed up...this is how i get it the first time i removed the carpet..

finish product...lol..i took the change to go obd0 to obd1 for tuning reasons..

once i was started working on the wiring, i tried to do some "hiding" ..after all this is my daily driver and an extra effort will be great..

also i removed the old exhaust...and this rex taught me how to weld too...

then after some work...on weekends mostly...i got my block from GE
and then i started building it,,,,it took me some time to gather the info to do it right, torque #'s, gap's, side, best application etc...i didnt have anyone to ask, so i passed several hours reading other HT members installations..
some goodies arrived just in time, and ready to test fit....
block arrive and ready to get "duuurty"

some kitty blood for the bearing..so they "dont scrreeech" lol


main studs and caps..easy to install but it took some time and rockstar juice!




now lets turn it up!

9.1 cp and eagle rods, thanks to camp1320 to get me a deal on those

the same valvetrain that jason park used on his cover NHRA teg 6XX hp..! cool guy




se finito!

now some top end work...



almost almost got it...dayum!!! i felt sooo lonely sometimes...!!!
its a pain in the '**** to drop it alone, when your wife is taking pics..

dirty engine bay...???

now its clean..

dang!! that presure plate is hard!! not what i was advised...but it works!!

once again alone...
hard to make it fit in just onw shot
