Default hi,,i've got a question

i used skunk2skunk2 spring to lowered the honda fit and the front is way too low, but the back is ok low.

Is it ok to take my car back to the shop again and let them adjudge the front a little higher so it matches the back? OR i have to change a new spring?

thank you

so did it drop to that height or are you saying more in front? a before and after measurement would have been ideal.

I've heard the same thing from others using the Skunk2 springs. That's why I chose the Eibach Pros. Their advertised drop is acurate on my Fit.

First off, a crappy cell phone picture...

I hate taking pictures in the winter. The winter tires are 185/65R14s. Same rolling diameter as the 195/55R15s.

If you don't care about ride quality, that will work. I wouldn't do it.

You should contact Skunk2, maybe your springs have settled too much.

they are called inserts that fit between the coils and make them spread apart, dont do that though cause the drip looks perfect, the car looks level and it appears even. If you decide to buy the inserts then you will hate it more, but they are available at any autozone or advance or pepboys.

thanks for the reply!
Can u explain more that why
it's not so good? I only need half inch higher
so it will balance with the rear wheel. Is that "insert"
will be able to do so?

its a bad idea because the springs are designed to use a certain amount of coils to support the vehicle at the designated ride height, by inserting a hard rubber between 2 coils you effectively lose the ability for those 2 coils to do there job with the rest of the spring and you end up with a bouncy ride. hope that this makes sense. the car looks good as is leave it alone

I think you would have to switch to a new spring if you want to do it right

I have a question for you. Since lowering the vehicle, which in my opinion looks bad ***, can you still add on snow chains with the clearance due to the drop?

Thanks!

I wouldn't run snow chains with it lowered.
