Ok I have a questions, I'm planning on buying some AEM cam gears, I got a B18c1 jdm motor, short ram intake aftermakert headers and cat back, my friend says if i buy the cams thier wont be a difference, is that true or not? I believe new cam gears would add a little more horsepower, and is one step closer to my much bigger upgrade plan which is getting Stage 2 Jun cam shfts. So somone tell me who is correct.

 

cam gears are only for tuning purposes. they will add 0hp.

 

errg thanks, I guess ima be saving for the new cam shafts, then buyt he cam gears

 

You may also need to save up for upgraded valvetrain to run those new cams.

dunno, my car is already set for the jun cams to be dropped in it had stage three bu was tookin out and put stock ones back in befor i bought it
