Default few questions and a picture...

This is a b20 but I wasnt sure if it was a crv or old Prelude one hope someone can clear that up....also from there...guy said its a 91 crx does that mean I can yank that motor out and drop in a sohc without any wiring trouble????

why would you? if the motor is no good just buy a new low mile one for under $500

Sorry I didnt clear it up...I want the swap in it if its not an Prelude b20 and my friend wants the car...I am having problems posting at the moment

if it is a b engine, why go back to soch? i would either get another for cheap like stated above, of find another better b.....

I WANT THE SWAP IN THAT CAR AND FRIEND JUST WANTS THE CAR AND I AM GIVING HIM MY SOHC!!!!!!! TO CLEAR ALL THAT UP....

Back on to subject what motor does that look like from pics please???

first off why do you want a sohc motor there ok but the b series are better. if your on a budget keep the ls tranny and get a b16 long block from hmotorsonline.com for like 650. you will be fast and wont cost you over about 900 dollars like that sohc swap is gonna cost you.

I wasn't sure what b20 the guy was talking about but i guess its newer sense its a hydro tran on it correct????

B20 that you have is from a CRV, a b20 did come from a prelude but its a shitty motor and wouldnt fit without alot of work

cable ls trans will bolt up. look on the block above the fron mount it will tell you what blocl it is

doesnt look like a b20 valve cover.

looks like a b18a cover. but those also fit on B20 heads. check the block stamp.

looks like an ls to me. i would check the stamp on the block to be sure.
