Honda breaks
Is it better to go with Honda OEM breaks ($120 installed at a dealer) which have no warranty at all or Raybestos am ($160) which come with lifetime warranty? The lifetime warranty is only on the pads so they charge you labour. Are ceramic breaks any good?
I just saw some Axxis ultimate ceramics for my EJ1 on http://www.nopi.com for like $70 for the front. They had some Nissin OEM replacements for about $40 a pair.
i say keep that extra $100 and just get good brakes and change them out yourself. simple...or you can pay me that $160 and i'll change your breaks and give you a warranty on the pads, they'll be good brakes, and just pay me for labour work. how does that sound...i'm located in MN...
just change them by yourself! not hard at all...i do my own and it's free! well i have to pay for the pads and stuff...but you get what i mean...save that extra money and do it yourself...

Did you not go on http://www.nopi.com and see the axxis ones? You can also do a search on yahoo and see who sells Hawk pads or even see how much EBC pads are. You can do the brake swap on your own. Pick up a Helms manual and it will walk you through everything. Step by step detailed instruction. Get a buddy to help you so the process goes faster. Joo can dewit!!!
