Well finaly started the CRX. i got it for $150(shell) and the motor for $300(extreeeeemmmmeeellllyyyy cheap!). Then this fallowing weekend im going to get the role cage, and get it welded in by a local welder. Right after hes done, its going to be taken to the body shop, Hopefully it will be in there by saturday. The guy is a family friend and will be fixing all the rust and sanding everything down and painted it black.

So far here’s a list of parts that I’ve gotten or parts that I need.
THINGS I HAVE:
B18c1(86k)
JDM GSR tranny with LSD
89CRX SI shell
HX rims
Better condition SI wiring harness(front to back)
HKS BOV
Profec B boost controller
HKS turbo timer

PLANS FOR MOTOR:
Its going to a machine shop to get a small overbore, honed and hot tanked and soon after glass beater or whatever its called
CP Pistons-9:1
Eagle Rods
ARP hardware
New bearings
OEM head gasket
CTR cams
Oil pump
Water pump
Timing belt
Mild P&P on the head
Fidanza lightweight flywheel
Not sure which clutch yet…. Still getting some research.

TURBO SETUP:
Custom Ramhorn Manifold or maybe a top mount manifold
38MM wastegate
Garrett GT28r or GT30R
2.5 IC pipping
Decent sized Intercooler
Walbro 190
550cc Injectors
2.5 inch exaust for DD and at low boost(Thinking 5PSI for Daily driven) and a 3 inch electric cutout.
ENGINE MANAGEMENT:
Convert to OBD1
P28
Hondata S300

Who did you have to kill to get a gsr motor for $300.

i can only guess why it was so cheap.

 

I got the motor from sum guy in indianolopis. i drove 4 hours for it! but it was worth it! it came from a crashed 4 door integra(98). the tranny was trashed the bell housing was cracked. so no use in getting that. the guy didnt even knoe what he was selling me!

Yes im 18, yes im Juan and I still own an Eclipse & a boosted EG and soon a boosted CRX :-)

Damn that was the buy of the century on the motor! Thats only like a 1500 dollar discount!
