I need to remove my Type R throttle body due to BAR. Anyway when i replace it with the stock gsr throttle body i get a really bad fluctuating idle. The only differences in the type r and gsr throttle bodies are; the gsr throttle body has a FITV and the type r does not, and the gsr has a hose outlet near the map sensor that goes to the EVAP canister. I never had the evap canister or solenoid valve hooked up with the type r tb.
Does this sound like bad FITV or something to do with having to hook up the evap ****?
Shouldnt just swapping the tb's and not connnecting any other hoses that werent hooked up before work?
I was told that this might just be lack of enough coolant but i think i have enough.
