Default Dohc zc obd0 and zc obd1 questions

I know how easily the obd0 would be to swap into my 90 dx with the extra wiring and such and was just wondering how much would be involved in the obd1 swap what else would need to be swapped I seem to find more odb1's than 0's - I know that its a given about running the needed wires for the mpfi since my dx is still dpfi and I have a si ecu to use. If anyone can give some info I would greatly appreciated as I am looking to get this old d15 with 210k on it out my my car

Thanx

what you need to do depends on whether you want to switch the car over to OBD1 or switch the engine over to run OBD0 - in either case you will need to swap out the mount that bolts to the engine on the driver's side with the one that is on your D15 and extend the wires for the cooling fan switch - to run it OBD0, you will need 88-89 Integra distributor and 88-89 Integra Cylinder Sensor - to run it OBD1, you will need OBD1 ECU (factory is P29 which uses 1-wire O2 sensor) and OBD0 to OBD1 ECU jumper harness

try here for engine - in Manassas, VA

It would be "easier" to stay OBD0, just follow jlicrx's advice. For wiring, if you don't want to do it yourself, hit up http://www.rywire.com.

How come the 90-91 distributor cant be used ? Also why is the teg ecu a better match for the dohc zc or what makes the si a second choice between the 2 ?

just asking and thanx for the info also BTW i just want to have all my info straight as I am planning on picking up a motor within the next month

The DOHC ZC is "similar" to the D16A1 that came in the ist gen. Integras so the ECU runs it similarly. You can use the PM6 (Si) ECU without any problems, your redline will be lower and people claim that it will run slightly lean and less agressive. I run this ECU and have not had any lean issues with it. I do have a spare PG7 Integra ECU that will work for sale as well so if you're interested send me a PM.
