headers?
hey guys i have dc sports race headers in my dc5 but they were hiting the bottom off my car so i put the energy suspension inserts but the the car shakes like crazy so i wanna change the headers for dc5 type-r headers i have intake exhaust, and k-pro will i loose to much by changing the headers i need some feedback before i do this or anyother way to stop the car for shaking
The shaking you feel is from the ESMM's. If it's really bad you might have a broken motor mount. Are you sure you got the right header for your car? I believe the DC5-S and the non-S use two different lengthed headers. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I say jack you car up and visually inspect the mounts while its running and check out whats happening when you rev your engine. And yes you will lose power if you put a cat back on your car.

Thats supposed to happen with the esmm's, thers nothing wrong with you mounts, header, or ride height. They vibrate the most when your stopped and have your a/c on at any time but after they begin to break in they get alot quiter and less annoying. Just give it a little time
. If its just too much to handle, you can just get Innovative Motor Mounts for around $220 or so and they will do even a better job than the esmm's just without causing your car to shake and be annoying.
