I would like someone to tell me how to get the Silver area out of the dash in my 2002 Civic Si. I am trying to add a lighter outlet so I have 2 in that extra space across from the Emergency flashers button. I figured there are brackets but possibley a picture with arrows showing me where they are. And do I have to remove the stereo din first? Thanks for any help.

 

take something and pop out the silver piece your talking about replacing after you pull off the shift **** then pull out on the lower piece there are just locking tabs behind there holding it in hope that helps
