clutch gone out or something is screwy with your cable.

is this the first time it has happened? If its a bad clutch, you may be able to still make it home if this is the first signs of something happening.

it is actually a new clutch. less then a thousand miles on it. 2nd time it has happened. the pedal is sticky, like once you press down on the clutch, it will stay down. only sometimes it will go back up. you think something needs to be tightened?

sounds like the adjustment cable on your clutch cable might be lose or might have broked. not uncommon for the cable to break.

Definitely something is wrong with the cable. Maybe is broken or just needs adjustment.
