Default Need help choosing header for b16A1 swapped CRX HF

I just picked up my crx recently and want to complete the obd1 conversion. Currently the car has dual 2wire O2 sensors in the stock b16 cast manifold, (located in the primaries).

Peter at rywire advised me to either get them plugged and a have single o2 sensor bung welded at the end of the header top before the cat, for the new 4 wire 02 sensor needed to complete the obd0 to obd1 conversion. I am also aware many headers already have this provision and would like to consider maybe upgrading the header before modifying the original one.

I've searched extensively and cannot find any info on what header will work. I am running HCP mount kit btw.

Can anyone offer some advice? I did find a new DC 4-2-1 never installed, from a G2 integra I think for a decent price, but not sure if it will clear.

I am open to suggestions. Probably not a 4-1 type as ground clearance doesn't seem to be at a premium in these cars....

$164.95 to be exact. Looks nice, although I've been happy with DC sports in the past. I have no experience with edelbrock, one plus I see is that all 3 gaskets are included in kit, dc only does the 2 o-rings....

If that pic on summits website is the actual one for that part number, I see there is no lower bracket like on others, so that would be one less area I'd have to worry about fitment.

Where did you see it for 150 on clearance.

In general what sorta vehicle should I be looking for a header from?

A Del Sol VTEC. Thats what this header is for. I just got mine last night and it is gorgeous. I will be putting it in my 1990 DX b16a Civic this weekend. When buying pretty much anything for the b16a just say 1995 Del Sol VTEC. Or 90-91 Integra for cap+rotor and a few other things. But I am talking OBD0 b16a. And yeah you are right it is $165, I just guessed. I got the last of the EDL-6742 for $129.

95 del sol vtech, got it

Wait a minute, EDL-6742, or EDL-6642 like you said previously.

I called the seller of the DC sports one that is local to me on craigslist. It is actually for gen 1 integra, and the VTEC civic and del sol. He sent me a picture and it has a lower bracket. on the lower section where it looks like it would bolt around the oil pan or something like that. My plan at this point is to take my stock one off and go look at his and offer the same price as what I can get the edelbrock one for, (assuming it looks the same), and if that doesn't work how I want then I will probably get what you got, (assuming you don't have any fitment problems.

What engine mounts are you using? Did you cut off the front engine mount under the radiator yet?

Either way, please keep me posted on you install!!!!
