Made the 11 hour trip this weekend to purchase the newest addition to my EF family. This will be my new daily driver while I build up my other 88 DX. The sedan is in decent condition but for $600 I couldn't say no. Tranny was rebuilt (new snycros and seals) within 2k ago. The motor and chassie have 180k. The car came with a generic intake, H&R cup kit springs, Koni yellows, generic strut and tie bars, cd player and speakers. I plan to restore the sedan then add some jdm/edm flavor to it. The best four parts about this: 1 EX, 2 Black on Grey, 3 manual and 4 sunroof

As you can see it's not mint but it was worth the money. The plans are to replace the head gasket, timing belt, water pump, exhaust, suspension (donating to my DX), battery, plugs and wires with new. The body will get touched up and re-painted the factory black. The interior will get new black carpet, headliner, door inserts and front and rear seats. After inspection I'll throw on my generic header, short throw and replace the filter with a K&N. The power steering, A/C, cruise and power locks need to be fixed. The suspension will get new 89 Accord front shocks, new rear shocks and my Ebay special coilovers until the Omni Power sleeve over's come in. Some bottle caps on some new tires and it'll be good to go (for now). Other things will be done depending on the budget which is limited to save for my move to Cali

That's the plan
I'll get some better pix up soon. Including the motor and interior. Also forgot to mention the DA front lip, EF side markers, ED corners and JDM bumper lights are to come soon.

I'm thinking we should do the HG, headstuds, waterpump, and t-belt all at the same time Jon. We could crack it out in a day.

Cool. I'd reccomend getting ARP headstuds, an OEM Y8 HG, and OEM t-belt kit. (Prostreetonline.com has them for $140.)
The nice thing about the arp's is that for one, they give you better protection ahgainst headlift, but they also let you take the head off again if you need to without having to buy new studs. It's not good to re-use the bolts becasue they are stretch bolts.
The y8 hg is awesome cause it's mls, not that shitty paper.

If anything it might lower it a little. Not enough to affect anything.
I got a cometic HG on mine (basically the same) and didn't notice a difference.

That and extended top hats allow the front to go lower and leason the risk of something messing up. I love the setup it has right now but that will be needed much more on my other one.
