I HAVE BOTH ENGINES THE D16 IS IN MY 91 CIVIC HATCH SI AND A FRIEND GAVE ME THE JDM D15 VTEC WHICH SHOULD I USE

 

there pretty much the same motor you wont feel the difference.

 

THE D16 RIPS 2 MY SUPRISE ITS REALLY STRONG I JUST DONT KNOW THE HP IS HAS

 

with a little TLC the A6 can fly, see sig for my times and power

 

take the d16a6 block and put a d16z6 head on it and build a mini-me.

 

13.5 1/4mile with a d16? My ***. Or is that 1/8?

 

d15 vtec is OBD1 conversion correct...more work?

 

z6 and d15b are same amount of work. Just z6 is 125hp, d15b is 130hp only difference.

 

D15b is like the b16 of the d-series...slightly better r/s ratio, lower torque numbers, less torque in the lower rpm but a much better top end response. I'd honestly stick with the a6...with a little boost those motors wake right up.

boost the a6 till ya blow it then get a d16z6 and use the same turbo kit on it.

I hope yoau was talking about the d15 being 130 hp at the crank mayble i hope u was talking about the d15 vtec, i got the d15b2 in the 91 hatch now and i think its seeing like 90 at the crank 70-75 at the wheels (veeerryy sllloooww)

just because its a d16 doesnt mean its slow. espesially in a 1900lb car. with that power. if u have the right set up and know how to drive, well than u can do what bigtuna can do.
