ok..i got a weird one for u guys.
i just got back from acura, i needed to buy a bulb socket for my turn signal (part #12 in illustration). so i went, and they gave me a socket that uses a 3 wire plug..i checked the opposite side, that has a working socket/bulb, and it indeed has the 3 wire plug. i check the side where the socket is missing, and it is different. the guy told me that if the car was involved in an accident, they may have swapped the harness from another honda..the plug i have on my car for the turn signal socket is identical to the plug for the small amber light (plug that socket #17 goes into). wtf?! when i bought my car the signals worked fine. the bulb lit up when i had the amber lights on, and it blinked when i hit the turn signal. which harness uses the same plug as the small amber light but allows for a bulb that lights up and blinks at the same time..? i guess what i REALLY need to know is what socket connects to that plug but allows for use of something like a 1157 bulb (when ambers are turned on, lights up, and when turn signal is blinking with same bulb..)
