Default problems with my idle control valve

i just swaped in a b16b r motor in my 2000 civic dx,shes runnin good but the idle is jumping, and the code from the ecu(93) is 14,which is the "iac valve",im using my 2000dx wiring harness and i had to rewire a plug to fit on the iac valve so when i went to do that ,i noticed that there are 3 wires from the dx harness, and the "iac: needs 2,so i need info on what to do to get it to work, ive already tested the "iac"and it works ,but i need info on how to convert 3 wires into 2 wires or directly run a wire to the ecu,and if so,what pin #(93 ecuw/ jumper harness,to fit 2000dx plugs of harness)any help or advise is greatful, but experties is a must

Oh damn, i just got over the same problem...My car threw 2 codes, the IACV and the O2 sensor. I changed them both but the idles still jumped from around (+-)2 grand to (+-)1 grand. We checked the thermostat thing, and the spring inside was stuck open. It sent the ecu info that makes it idle like that (its a safty mode), i guess so it wouldnt over heat. My car was taken to a honda techinician, and thats what he told me. He changed the part, and now there are no more problems.

Ignore SleeperEg6 that's me read wat b18c5 have to say worked for me SleeperEG6 (12:52 AM 4/19/2002): i have a skunk 2 man. too..
B18C5-EH2 (12:52 AM 4/19/2002): could be fast idle valve - most likely that
SleeperEG6 (12:52 AM 4/19/2002): alright thanks i got a new radiator and going to get some hose... chaing sat. hopefully that helps
B18C5-EH2 (12:52 AM 4/19/2002): there's a plastic piece in it that backs out and only makes the idle worse.
SleeperEG6 (12:53 AM 4/19/2002): i just wanted to heard from someone...... thanks
B18C5-EH2 (12:53 AM 4/19/2002): it's a valve directly underneath the throttle body - it's actually attached to it on th underside of the throttle body
B18C5-EH2 (12:53 AM 4/19/2002): take it out, open it up and see - there's also a spring in it that can break too
SleeperEG6 (12:56 AM 4/19/2002): what do i do to it? adjust it? clean it?
B18C5-EH2 (7:34 AM 4/19/2002): if thwhite plastic piece has backed itself out, then take it out, put some Hondabond on it and screw it back in so it won't back out again
