Accord EGR plugs? 1999
I know this is a played out topic, but my question is a little different...
I drive a 99 Accord EX 4 Cylinder and have EGR insufficient flow and I've searched and read a ton of posts but I cant seem to find anyone that had a 6th gen 4 cyl. Only 6 cyl.
Does anyone have a doc on the 4 cyl 6th gen? I couldn't find one...
Is the process close enough to the same as the 6 cyl?
Whats the part number on the EGR plugs? I found this: 17199-PT3-AHM. I couldnt find the plugs on the blow up image for my ride.
Thanks

Whoa Stop; don't go drilling holes in your intake manifold LOL
On your engine the EGR feeds up into the throttle body area, you can follow the casting 'hump' from the EGR Valve base to the point where it meets up with the throttle body.
After you split the top off the throttle body [4 bolts and misc. junk] you'll see about a 3/8" hole that is plugged up with carbon soot.
That is the usual place they get flow restriction

All finished... The little crossover port was packed completely solid to the point i didnt even know there was a port there... The car is running great now. Thanks again.
