Default Vtec to nonVtec

I'm swapping into my 97 EX, a built and boosted d16a6, but i want to add a non vtec (d16y7) head. Are the bolt patterns the same and does this bolt up right?

Never heard of a d16a6, is it obd0?

Is it out of a crx?

I'd guess ti should match up. D-series to D-series.

it's not worth the hassle. the y7 valves are 1mm larger, but the a6 head has better ports.

if you do decide to swap heads, you'll have fun trying to get the timing correct
