Im going to be swapping a SOHC VTEC motor in my car and throwing a good turbo setup on it. What I was wondering, and yes I searched but didnt really come up with anything. What parts are interchangeable with the JDM D15B? I was going to get a y8 but their hard to find in my area and a JDM motor doesnt cost much at all. But i would probably want to rebuilt it with rings/bearings/head gasket no matter how miles were on it, but do any of the US parts like those swap into that motor? I dont wanna buy a D15B and not be able to replace the rings and bearings. Also I will be ordering a clutch as well, would a ACT clutch work on that If i still ordered it for a stock d15? Any help is appreciated as I will be having to make my choice on the motor pretty soon.

 

The motor is basically a D15z1 block with a D16z6 head..so parts arent hard to get at all

 

what head gasket would you recommend me ordering then? and when i order my act clutch would i get it for a z6 then? thanks!

im going to be using my stock dx tranny, so go with a 90/91 dx clutch then? thanks for the help guys i appreciate it big time!
