Default Head swap/head work

I have d16z6 motor and I'm thinking of swaping the head for a d16y8 head. I was able to get the head with intake manifold, fr, injectors and tb.I'm thinking of using all that plus my odb1 computer. What kind of problems I might encounter doing the swap? Is there anything else I shoudl do?. I was also thinking of getting a new cam, springs and do a 3 angle valve job and a polishing job to the head. I was told by a machine shop that the polishing is not neccesary on the d16y8 head but that I need to make sure that the exhaust guides are with in tolerance. Is this true?. Thanks in advance for your imput.

get a damn manual first of all.the z6 dist will have to be modified to work with the y8 head. if u can afford to get the head done, do it. the zex cam's are decent for the money (around 270).

u need to go here.
