The problem is i am swapping out my d16a1 from my 89 crx, and putting in a d16a6, but my d16a6 dizzy has no pigtail, wires are cut and the d16a1 dizzy doesn't even come close to matching.I have the female part of the harness on the wiring harness, but i need the male part connecting to the wires on the dizzy. My question is, is there anything I can do to avoid buying a new dizzy, anyway i can swap old pigtail and put wires together "cannot find schematics for the distributors"...thanks

Thank you sir. I am downloading it right now...do you know if im a running a D16a1 ECu and the d16a6 has an extra sensor on the clip...will it matter if that sensor is not hooked up because the ECU does not require or recognize that sensor?

the 2 extra wires on the A6 are for the Cylinder Sensor which is on the exhaust camshaft on the A1 - you need to take the 2 wires that go to the A1 Cylinder Sensor and put them into the connector for the A6 distributor

Freakin awesome...perfect just what i needed. Does anyone know where to get the pigtail coming from the dizzy to the male harness...my wires were cut, are there any interchangeable harness, or can i cut the female side and just soder the wires...?
connector from 88-91 SI, EX or HF or from B18A1 will work - you could splice the wires and solder them, but if you needed to swap distributors, you would have to do it all over again - best to get a connector
