Cable Clutch Adjustment?
Hi,
I have been searching the net trying to figure out the correct location to adjust my CABLE clutch on my 88 CRX. The clutch is engaging at the very end of the pedal (almost all the way out). There is no slipping, or difficulty getting into gears, so I am thinking I can adjust this cable somewhere. Do I adjust this on the transmission, or on the pedal? My cable feels pretty tight...seems too tight.
I have read this adjustment is on the actual transmission, and have also read that it is a plastic piece that attaches to the pedal. I wanted to get your advice on this and do it right the first time.
Thanks

i had an 88 crx and you adjust it on the tranny and its a lil arm that sticks out of the tranny on the bottom of the arm there is a thing you can trun that will pull the cable tighter or you can lossin it to take off the clutch cable... i dont know if that was a good enough discription... when looking in your engine bay it will be toward the front on the left side comin out the tranny. let me know if that helped any
