Default Trailing arm bushing question.

I've searched and found part of my answer. Mugen bushings work like OEM but stiffer. Urethane bushings cause binding. Spherical replacements alter suspension geometry/movement.

So the OEM style Mugen bushings are the best choice correct? Here's the question. Do you install the bushing EXACTLY as it came out, ie. "LWR" facing down? Or do you install the bushing to compensate for the position the trailing arm would be at ride height?

For example, "LWR" still faces down when the vehicle is ride height, even though it the trailing arm is angled up a bit. I just wonder if it's better to mount it this way so the bushing is not "loaded" at ride height.

Install them with compensation for the amount the car has been lowered. We did this by measuring 1.75 inches from the center of the axle, and simply drawing a line on the arm as a guide. Got to the press and lined the bushing up with our guide and pressed the right in.

Thought so. Thanks guys. Think I'll put it up on the alignment rack and draw a line straight down from the centre of the bushing. That should be my new "LWR" point.
