timing belt cover?

Default timing belt cover?

what is the timing belt cover? my mechanic told me that i should keep an eye on that because its leaking or something and he had to spray it down? i cant find the part online! what is it? and where can i find it?

The timing belt cover is actually several plastic peices that cover the timing belt on the driver side of the engine. It has rubber gaskets and crap to keep dirt/dust out (or in haha) and it is there to protect your timing and balance shaft belts.

and PLEASE do run them....street cars do not need to have exposed timing belts/etc ....****, none do....its just asking for it
