I have wanted to share these with you guys for weeks now, but have been swamped with work amongts other things. I left for England on the 22nd of December and came back January 5th.
Countries visited were England, France and Italy in that order. Cities/Towns visitied were London, Bury, Cambridge, Dover in England. Callais, Lille Flandres, Paris while in France, and just Rome while in Italy.
We were very fortunate to have stayed with friends in Lakenheath who are stationed there in the Air Force. We left for Paris on the 27th together with our friends. Our trip to Paris was awesome. Oh... i guess i should mention that i asked my girlfriend to marry me under the Eiffel Tower
. Yes thats right... there will now be a Mrs. Splat Jr
We left early the morning of the 27th and drove to Dover where we took a Ferry across the English Channel. We then travelled by Train from the French coast to Paris. We spent 2 nights in Paris and returned England on the 29th.
Have previously spoken to several UK ITR owners, we had set up a ITR meet for the 30th in Bury. I met some great guys including username Tartje (Geoff) who really helped arrange the meet. Thanks again Geoff, and i sincerely hope you join us for Expo 7!
We then travelled to London for New Years. It was only the coolest experience ever. The fireworks were basically a finale for 15 minutes straight. I have never been in one place with so many people before in my entire life. Absolute blast!
My Fiance and I then left for Rome on Janurary 2nd. Rome was awesome... pizza and ice cream were consumed daily, and usually multiple times.
I apologize in advance for the pics possibly not being in the exact order taken. I will try and label the monuments visited, but some of the buildings and structures we took pics of we have no idea what they were.
All in all it was most definitely the best experience of my entire life. I was very fortunate to have visited so many places at such a young age. I would encourage everyone to travel abroad at least once in their life. There is so much more to see than the United States.
I hope you all enjoy viewing the pics

Congratulations!
Man, it's so bloody gorgeous over there. Makes our land of crappy strip malls and McMansions look rather shabby indeed. I'd move to Europe in a heartbeat if it weren't so damned tough to find a job over there.
