How much bigger are your primaries vs the ports size?

I have a V8 Turbo manifold I'm putting together, the ports are roughly 50mm wide and 31.95MM high Which makes them oval. I was thinking about 2'' round primarys but slightly crushing the tubing to match the port shape at the flange.
Does 2'' sound crazy ? Or am I thinking too much which I probably am because the tubing after the oem header is 2'' wide 50mm and 30mm 1.2'' high.

If you convert the oval port to a circle:
(50 + 32) / 2 = 41mm = 1.61"
That's the exact pipe diameter you'd need to fit the port. The nearest up-size you'll find is 1.75" which is what I'd go with.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Thanks alot. The 5L engine is goinna see a GT4718 theres gonna be some trial and error along the way.
