I think you should tell us more then I want turbo, how about telling us what the car is for, your goals for it how you want it to behave how much HP do you want and what exactly is done to the motor.

okie doke so you are ready to make some pretty good power, frankly I'd say make your own kit and if 400 WHP is your goal search a few 400 hp setups in the forced induction fourms.

Piece your own kit together. It will end up being cheaper.

There's a big price difference. imo not really much gain with the ramhorn unless you like the looks of it.

Yeah I agree. Piece it together yourself Oh and if I were to do it again, I just get a log manifold. They make good numbers and they dont take up as much space. Which you will find to be very litte once you start putting everything together in an EF.

expletive logs and ramhorns. Do a short tubular manifold. Flows better than a log and spools faster than a ramhorn.

edit: Here's a pic of my old setup for an idea of the space you will have to work with. Thats a short tubular manifold that a buddy of mine made for me. we have both gotten better in our welding since then.

Why are you acting like log manifolds are garbage, there not. 300hp on 7psi on one of our logs. You can make 500hp on logs, do don't act like they don't perform.

I didnt say they are garbage. But for around the same price you can have a manifold that flows better.

Yeah, well if you want to say that then, for around the same price of that you can have a ram.

ramhorns are typically 600+ fabbed by a reputable manufacturer. logs and tubulars are at least half that.

I say make your own for $100.

btw: you guys make some good lookin manifolds. Do you also make the braces for that top mount?

Thanks, the only braces a manifold would need is if it was made out of 16ga, and we don't make those for your average customer, because they do need to be braced well.

do you have any sort of testing to back up that statement?

if your price range is 3k, save yourself the time and headache and buy a complete kit. if you are new to the turbo game, it can be quite time consuming to gather all of the parts.

drag kits and revhard kits are nice. revhard kits are a little nicer in my opinion.

+1

Quit running your mouth if you don't have any testing/theory to back it up.

Oh yeah, and in your pic, that manifold is pretty damn close to being something that would be called a "log manifold".

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by B16CRXT &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">tubular. Logs, have no flow. lol. Trust me, they are different</TD></TR></TABLE>

So since log manifolds have no flow, then they make no power? That's interesting.

Take your bullshit over to the FI forum and i'm sure you'll make some friends.
