Hi. i was having p roblems wiht my battery not recharging nad needing a jump. took it to the mechanic and he told me that my broke control module is shorted and is drawing/draining current form battery. He said to replace the control module is gonna cost 1600 bucks. i've just had him cut the wire that's drawing the current. My question is that does the part cost 1600 bucks? is there any cheaper replacement and how important is the brake control module. i mean im sure its important, but i'd just like to get feedback from people who have experience. I'm so broke and there's no way i can afford to pay 1600 bucks..thanx
