CTR carbon fiber bezel....need help...

Default CTR carbon fiber bezel....need help...

ok i ordered a carbon fiber bezel overlay for my si and it doesnt fit cause on the si gauge cluster there is a place for a key to push into the gauges to reset something i dont know really. but on the overlay its not there? what do i do or am i screwed? lol

yes it ctr bezel....the carbon fiber part that overlays ur gauges.

It's to reset the maintenence light. expletive it, cover it up, or get a CTR cluster.

i pulled mine out from the back side. a hot knife will cut it off too.

well i just reset my maintainence and held the back part with my finger and gentlely pulled and twisted on teh button until it came out but does anyone now know of a site i can get a clear shield for it without that key hole?

just take the cluster out, take the top face off and you can take it out...

i got the maintainence key out....that problem is solved and to me much better than cuttin on the bezel...but my question now is does anyone know where i can get a clear shield without that key hole in it

i left mine open, you'll have to get a CTR plastic "shield" cause none of the USDM ones came w/ out the reset..

Which of course is probably impossible because there's no point in breaking apart a CTR cluster

if it bugs you that much...

A: get a CTR cluster
B: get a CF CTR "style" overlay that fits the USDM clusters better...

yea but i cant find a better fitting carbon fiber overlay for USDM and i have looked all i find is what i have. which i am happy with what i got now but later on yea i may get CTR cluster.

yea its the real bezel but the maintainence key was in teh way so i just removed it and went on my way.

The canadian domestic market clusters did not have that hole, I suggest you try to hunt a cheap one down and just buy it so you can snag the cover if it bothers you that much. I believe that USDM clusters are the only ones that have it.
