alright look i got these speakers put in my car and there great but they dont put much bass out i think its because the on carpet and not in the holes for air room need help

 

If you want bass put some 15s in the hatch and get real.

 

i have 10 inch subwoofers in there

 

put em in the holes and if you don't have some you can get a box made

 

doesn't matter if you put in 12",15", or 18". it's not gonna thump if you don't have any power going through them. you need to hook up an amp, if you don't have anything powering them

 

rockenuptown, describe your setup so someone can actually help you, what kind of amp what kind of subs how are they mounted and what kind of speakers.... saying oyu have speakers and they arnt putting out bass doesnt help us help you at all...

 

well lets see i have 10inch subwoofers there to big for the holes in the back of the car up in the back window so they sit on carpet i have no amp it looks really trashy but i think it doesnt put out bass because it on carpet and it need the air room of the trunk the space of the trunk and i dont no how to build a box

 

you have 2 10inch subwoofers and no amp... dear god...

 

that's your problem, buddy. no amp=no bass. if you get 6x9 that will fit the rear(the holes that your talking about), I bet you will get it to sound much better than it sounds now. your not gonna get that hard hitting bass unless you get an amp, not only that your gonna need an enclosed speaker box for that sub(10" speaker).

 

get an education with that amp...
